The Tashkent Ulugbek International School is run as a joint venture between the SILM Corporation and the Diplomatic Service of Uzbekistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Secondary School is located in a modern refurbished building (school No.25) at 17 Usman Nasir Street. The Primary School is located at 3/A Abdullaeva Street.
The Tashkent Ulugbek International School is well appointed with properly equipped classrooms, gymnasium, laboratories, computer suite, dining room, garden and outdoor playing facilities for pupils.
The School offers a safe and secure environment for pupils as it is surrounded by a sound tall wrought iron fence around it with one small gate entrance. Access to the Tashkent Ulugbek International School is restricted to those who have business with the school.
The Tashkent Ulugbek International School offers primary and secondary school education to children from the international community, as well as to children from local Uzbek community.
We, at the Tashkent Ulugbek International School, have a totally secular policy regarding education, we do not teach any religion. Our pupils come from many countries and have different cultures and traditions. We show no favor to any one group either overtly or covertly. We respect the traditions and cultures of all our students and actively encourage them to uphold, cherish and respect the traditions and values of their own country, whatever those may be.
