FACILITIES
Below are most of the facilities that TUIS currently has:
• Primary and secondary classes: Classes range from Year 1 to Year 11 and vary in number of students from 9 to 22. The average student-teacher ratio is 9:1.
• Physics laboratory: The physics laboratory is situated on the ground floor of the secondary school and is fully equipped with workbenches and up-to-date equipments. The physics laboratory has got an up-to-date computer linked to the school's network system with internet access.
• Biology laboratory: The biology laboratory is fully equipped with modern apparatus fittings located on the first floor.

• ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) Laboratories: TUIS connects its students to a world of new ideas and teaches them to apply the lessons learned to every aspect of their life. Over the past years, TUIS has given an extra significance to ICT and has equipped its two computer labs with the latest technology computers, up-to-date software programs, and secure network systems. They also have individual workstations for students, a network system linking all the computers in the ICT room. The student computer ratio is 1:1.
• Canteen and Buffet: On the ground floor is a canteen selling snacks and drinks and on the first floor is a buffet selling hot meals, pastries, and drinks.
• Art room: A newly appointed art room has been established on the ground floor to let the pupils work more comfortably.
• Multimedia room: This room with its forty-eight seats is located on the third floor. In the multimedia room (video room) is a large screen TV linked to a VCR and a DVD player, as well as to a computer with CD-ROM and DVD-ROM Driver. Recently, projector has been installed in the room. The room is also used for general meetings and the TUIS Cinema Days.
• Library: Both the primary and secondary schools have their own libraries. They are easy to access for all teachers and students. A full time librarian manages the library that is stocked with a variety of reading and reference books in English and Russian. The libraries are well-stocked with books reflecting the international nature of the school.
• School Secretary: The school secretary's office is at the end of the ground floor corridor, in front of the Principal's and Deputy Principal's rooms. The secretary is able to communicate in English, Russian, and Uzbek Languages and serves as a translator in these three languages when necessary.
• Music room: The music room is on the ground floor and contains a piano, floor space for dance routines and other musical instruments including some traditional Uzbek musical instruments.
• TV-Videos in all classrooms: Each primary school class is equipped with TV-Video set and a computer connected to the school's network system.
• Tape recorders in all classrooms: Each primary school class including preparatory class of the secondary school is equipped with a tape recorder while the secondary classes share a few others.
• Outside playground: There are three small outside play areas where students play ball games such as basketball, volleyball, cricket etc. during the breaks.
• Shared use of larger gymnasium, concert hall and music room: TUIS shares a gymnasium and a hall with the attached state school.
• Lunch area: On the ground and first floor are two large areas with tables and chairs for the students' use during break times and lunchtime.
• Medical room with doctor / nurse: A full time doctor is employed by the school and can be found in the consulting room on the third floor.
• Computerized administration: The administration is linked to a computer network system and has complete computer facilities including printers, e-mail, and internet access.
• Teachers' Room: The teachers' room is located on the ground floor. The teachers' room is equipped with two computers and a laser printer that are linked to the school network system.
• Mathematics Faculty: On the third floor is located the Mathematics Faculty. The Maths Faculty is equipped with a computer that is linked to the school network system.
• Russian Faculty: The Russian Faculty is on the third floor. This room is mostly used for the Russian lessons of the foreign students.
• English Faculty: The English Faculty is located on the ground floor and equipped with a computer that is linked to the school network system. There are a lot of reading books and English Language teaching resources in this room. The English Faculty has got a collection of video and audio cassettes, VCDs and DVDs and English Language teaching CDs.
