ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING

Children whose first language is other than English can participate in an intensive ESL (English as Second Language) program that is offered in preparatory classes at school. Courses are taught for academic application. In addition to communicative competence, we aim to provide all children with the proficiency necessary to attend courses in which the medium of instruction is English. The teaching method focuses on oral and reading comprehension, oral and written expression. An “eclectic approach” facilitates the acquisition of skills in English through various communicative and authentic activities, pictures, audio-visual materials and computer programs.
