In order to achieve these goals and in keeping with the School's philosophy, TUIS fosters the following methods of instruction:
• We believe that if the pupil feels the necessity of education and enjoys learning, learning becomes inevitable. So, we help our pupils acquire the will to learn.
• As for the language, it is not taught but learned and acquired. Therefore, we try to give the pupils the motivation they need.
• We believe in the value of practical experience. There is an old Chinese proverb which says "hear and you forget, see and you remember, do and you learn". So, practical experience is used whenever possible in the classroom.
• We believe that the periodical assessment of the pupil's progress creates positive motivation in pupils, and helps the parents control the educational progress of their children.
