Tashkent Ulugbek International School has eleven grades, with much ethnicity and self-respect.
10th grade has 22 students, categorized into 8 different nationalities. The class consists of 5 Turks, 2 Pakistani, ½ Afghan, 1 ½ Russian, 1 Bangladeshi, 3 Koreans, 1 American, and 8 Uzbeks. Each cluster of nationality has put their dissimilarities aside and unified as one group of close friends. Much encouragement and friendly atmosphere is filled in both class and outside activities. The class as a whole has an average point grade average with a hard working approach that challenges the whole product of the school. There are many struggles the class faces; however, the class does a terrific job in solving their problems peacefully. All in all, we think the tenth grade is the best class in TUIS and represents the quality for the best generations of students, just like the school's motto!
