Welcome to the Magical World of Year 8

You! Unwearied adventurer behold there!

Here you will travel beyond the borders and experience the privilege of being a year 8 student. 

The first adventure awaits you on the land of mathematicians. You will learn fundamental subjects of mathematics especially fractions, directed numbers, substitution, equations, symmetry, factors and probability.

Then comes the second adventure which introduces you to the perfect magician called English. This magician teaches you how to cast spells in order to write an enchanted work called ESSAY. Additionally, you will have a guide, Headway, which helps you to understand English better. You will also obtain supernatural power of Drama and Role play that will provide a better understanding of English.

While staying with English, you will have a chance to visit his friend, Literature. Literature will mention two old epics about Achilles and Odysseus. You will feel rage of Achilles and will of Odysseus that will make you understand human nature better.

As you set off to come back, you will have to pass through the country called World History. In this country, you will witness what is happening in the town of Medieval Europe. You will see the way people lived and have a chance to compare their lives with yours.

World Geography is next to World History. In this country, you will have to cross long, deep rivers and reach coasts where the economic activity of the population effects environment.

The alchemist Mr. Chemistry will meet you if you manage to pass World Geography unharmed. He will teach you the earth and its structure. You will get sacred and secret knowledge of acids, alkalis, neutralization, fossil fuels, water and solutions.

Master Physics will provide you with crucial information that will make you understand how to use simple machines and electric circuit, as well as exploiting heat energy and heat transfer.

Having obtained some of the fundamental requirements to fulfill your quest, you will need to find out how your body works and what your endurance is. To do so, you will have lessons from Master Biology who will teach you homeostasis and nervous system. Additionally, you will understand how your brain, kidney and pancreas work.    

Master I.T. will teach you basic tricks such as MS Excel, MS FrontPage and publishing a web site.

Your friends Russian and Local Sciences will help you understand some problems that you will face during your journey.
Finally, you will improve your physical abilities with the help of your teacher named Physical Education.  

If you end your quest successfully, you will be awarded to the next step called year 9!
