Brief Personal Biography |
I was born in 1971 and grew up in Cayeli - a beautiful tea town by the Black Sea. I had my primary and secondary school education in my hometown and in 1988 I was graduated from Rize High School in the city of Rize.
After qualifying as an ESL/EFL teacher at Selchuk University in Konya, Turkey, I took my first teaching position at a secondary school in Turkey in 1993. Only one year later I was offered an international teaching position and soon after in November 1994 I flew to Uzbekistan in Central Asia. From 1994 to 1998 I worked as an ESL/EFL teacher and as a Deputy Principal in the city of Kokand in Fargona Valley in the east of the country - about 250 km from the capital city Tashkent.I moved to Tashkent in 1998 and since then I have been working at the Tashkent Ulugbek International School as the Head of the Primary School. I also teach IT and English Language at the primary school.
